All the chorus classes of Roberson held their last concert last night, May 21. Advanced Ensemble, Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, and Mixed Ensemble all performed and showcased several songs they had been working on. At the end of the concert all the choirs sang together as a combined choir.
Choral Director Aleisa Baker honored the 16 seniors in Advanced Ensemble with a pink rose, the color of music academics. She also presented Beth Scott and Daniel Lowman, two of the seniors, with an award to showcase their talent and overall achievements in their four years of music at Roberson.
The night was very emotional for many of the seniors, the student teacher (Riley Sullivan) and the students of Advanced Ensemble during the performance of “Let My Love Be Heard.”
Below is a recording of the song sung by the combined choir, and an overall summary of the night.
