Hey guys! Welcome to my blog! My name is Kayla, and I’m always on the lookout for some new “stuff.” Whether it’s music, fashion, food, you name it, I love it! So I decided I would share everything across all categories I’m vibing with this month with you!
“Stranger Things” fans – listen up! Joe Keery, who plays Steve on the hit Netflix show, has a band. And they’re amazing. Post Animal, an eclectic psych-rock band gives off major “Magical Mystery Tour” Beatles-era vibes. I recommend songs like “Lonely Jones” and “Special Moment” for a real pick-me-up.

Lapocs Charcoal Sheet Masks are basically sent from heaven. It’s a black mask with a cooling gel that cleans out your pores. You can get them at Francesca’s for $3.00 – which is a little bit of a splurge, but trust me, your face will thank you.

At least everyone is prepared for these rainy days. It seems like everyone now has a pair of rainboots, including me! If you need a reference, I have a matte oyster colored pair. They have a non-slip tread and cushioned insoles that will have you searching for rainstorms! It’s the heavy duty shoewear that seems to go with everything, rain or shine.

If anyone has even said a word to me, they know I like tea. And there is no place better to find qualiTEA (ha) than Dobra Tea House. Dobra is a zen tea shop with hundreds of options to try. Take my word for it: you will never run out. Located on Lexington Ave downtown. Take your shoes off, flip through the menu and relaaaaaax.
What do the Black Panther and Olaf the snowman have in common? A fantastic movie based on one of the most defining cases of Thurgood Marshall’s career. The story follows the first African American Supreme Court justice back when he was working for the NAACP and Sam Friedman, an amateur insurance lawyer who had never handled a criminal case. They team up to defend a black man accused of sexual assault and attempted murder against an affluent Greenwich socialite. Chadwick Boseman and Josh Gad’s chemistry on the big screen bring the powerful commentary of “Marshall” to life.
